Yesterday i found something weird in my wordpress admin section.
It seemed that all the layout is kind of … messed up. I was not tinkering with any of the codes lately. Even if I did, i always do it with my local copy and test it first in my macbook. So it must be something related with the themes or plugins.
Theme is OK, not making any code change even the css. I did the standard procedure on plugins check. Disable ’em all and then activate it one by one. I’m not using many plugins, they’re just Advanced Excerpt, Akismet, Bookmarklet, Instapress, NextGEN, WP SEO, WP Supercache and WP to Twitter. And the culprit is NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati v2.0.
Just remember that I’ve updated NextGEN couple days ago. The name was only “NextGEN Gallery” :) After Googling for a while, I found that there are many reports regarding to version 2.0 that causing problem here and there. Some getting PHP errors, white blank screen and in my case is breaking the layout of admin section.
So, what i did after that is re-installed the 1.9.3 and voila, everything back to normal again.
Here are some screenshot I took this morning after seeing a statement in my plugins update status. It says “Compatibility with WordPress 3.5.2: 100% (according to its author)”. Well I’m sorry photocrati, i have to say it’s not 100%, not like the 1.9.3.
It’s not 3.6 ready also, same thing happen

After updating to 2.0.7 problem still remains
so i tried again to disable all plugins but NextGen by Photocrati
and switch the themes to Twenty Twelve
everything seems to be working just fine
but i’m affraid Twenty Twelve is the only working themes combo with NextGen in my case
*sigh* need to revert to 1.9 again…
